Since October, 2009 when Truly Custom Cakery opened we have been featured on websites, in magazines, and won several awards! It's been a wild and exciting ride. Below you can browse through some of the awards and articles from the past couple of years.
2012
Let Them Eat Cake Under The Big Top. A Philadelphia Area Wedding Cake Competition sponsored by City of Hope. Out of more than 40 Cake Shops and Bakeries in the region, Truly Custom Cakery, LLC won Best Use of Theme, Most Artistic, and Audience Choice! That's 3 of the 5 available awards!
2011
Souderton Area Education Association 1st Place Award Winner. This event was hosted in Souderton, PA, in the Philadelphia suburbs. Many local cake shops were present. It was such an honorto win first place!
At City of Hope's, "Let Them Eat Cake", 40 Cake Artists from across the Philadelphia region competed in a variety of categories including taste, theme, artistry, people's choice, and best of show. Truly Custom Cakery was honored to win 3 of the 5 awards! The one we were most excited to win, BEST TASTING!!! Because it proves that our cakes really do taste as good as they look!
